Grocery & Market Edition questions

01Does it work with a weighing scale?
Yes. A label scale prints a barcode that carries the item and weight or price, and the POS reads it at checkout. Produce can also be rung up by PLU code.

02Can I accept SNAP/EBT?
SmartPOS works with certified payment processors that handle SNAP/EBT. Your store needs its own FNS authorisation, and the EBT card is processed by that processor, not by us.

03How do I load 5,000 products?
Fill in the product import spreadsheet with names, barcodes, prices and stock, then import it in one go. You can bulk-edit prices later the same way.

04Can it warn me before things expire?
Yes. Products can carry lot numbers and expiry dates, and stock alerts and expiry reports show what to sell first or pull from the shelf.

05Can restaurants buy from me at wholesale prices?
Yes. Selling-price groups let you set a wholesale price list and assign it to a customer, so the right price appears when you ring them up.

06Can the system run in Chinese or Korean?
Yes. The interface and receipts can run in the shop's language, and each staff member can pick their own.
